FLASHBACK!

...this song is very 80's.

It's from one of my all time favorite movies,
THE KARATE KID... you know the part when Daniel
is riding his bike to school the night after the
Cobra-Kais roughed him up? Anyhoo, I know there
are a few cheeseballs out there who love all
things 80's as much as I do... admit it.

you'll feel better.

"Hot summer streets
And the pavements are burning
I sit around...
Trying to smile but
The air is so heavy and dry.
Strange voices are saying -
oh, what did they say?
Things I can't understand.
It's too close for comfort
This heat has got
Right out of hand.

It's a cruel, cruel summer.
Leaving me here on my own.
It's a cruel, cruel summer.
Now that you're gone...

The city is crowded,
My friends are away
And I'm on my own.
It's too hot to handle
So I got to get up and go.

It's a cruel, cruel summer.
Leaving me here on my own.
It's a cruel, cruel summer.
Now that you're gone..."

ahh, a gem of 80's pop culture. I can't hear the song and not think of the movie. I like th part when Johnny dressed as a shower so he wouldn't get his ass kicked at the Halloween party. Poor Johnny.
