"In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb..."

was the way teachers described the month of March
when I was little and I've ALWAYS loved and remembered it.
Craig likes to keep me updated on the weather and what
the coming days will bring... he called today PERFECTLY!
I always ask him what the day will be like so I know
what to wear... he is SO cute.

Suddenly I See...

"Her face is a map of the world
Is a map of the world
You can see she's a beautiful girl
She's a beautiful girl
And everything around her is a silver pool of light
The people who surround her feel the benefit of it
It makes you calm
She holds you captivated in her palm

Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
This is what I wanna be
Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
Why the hell it means so much to me

I feel like walking the world
Like walking the world
You can hear she's a beautiful girl
She's a beautiful girl
She fills up every corner like she's born in black and white
Makes you feel warmer when you're trying to remember
What you heard
She likes to leave you hanging on her word

Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
This is what I wanna be
Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
Why the hell it means so much to me

And she's taller than most
And she's looking at me
I can see her eyes looking from a page in a magazine
Oh she makes me feel like I could be a tower
A big strong tower
She got the power to be
The power to give
The power to see

Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
This is what I wanna be
Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
Why the hell it means so much to me "

On another note, my friend Lori is back
to work and I am thrilled! She looks so
good and has the best attitude, I love
being around her! She also shares my love
of random ass 80's songs.

AND TONIGHT...

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL , season 8 is starting and I will be watching while my sweet baby is studying hard.
He watched most of last season with me, so he may sneek away and watch a little with me.
I'll be sure to post any faves and/or dislikes of the bunch!

We had a great weekend!

We accomplished a lot and also had a good time.
We had lunch with some nice new friends and hit
the Home Depot for some house and gardening
stuff. I started some herbs ( basil, mint, rosemary and
lavender ) that will be transplated outside in about
6 weeks or so. I also started some daikon radish seeds
that were given to us by our new friends. We were
also given some home made pickles which look very tasty...
Angus loves pickles, so the 2 jars may not last too long.
Angus also had his friend Ben over for a sleepover... Ben woke
up at 6am apparently, but kept busy w/ some video games.
We also picked up a bandana for Bombs, we felt he needed one.
He's also going by "BANDIT" for the rest of the day.

Tonight, this TALL DRINK OF WATER is making us a roast
for our Sunday Dinner. I'm making some mashers and
roasted garlic w/ grilled bread.

"Girl's Night Out"

is tonight and I'm super excited! Kelli,
Tana and myself will start the evening at
Gecko's with Tapas. Then, we're headed
downtown to visit some friends @ Burt's and
finally, we'll end up @ the Launchpad to hear
Icky & the Yuks play. My friend Michelle is
meeting up with us later as well. It's been
a while since I've been out, so I'm looking
forward to having a good time. Craig is just
so sweet to let me have some girl time so I
don't go completely mad!

I love him so!

Look What I Found!

One of our new favorite show is 'Extras'
on HBO and we love the theme song. Well,
today instead of doing all my work, I
found the song! Yay me!

"Bring tea for the Tillerman,
Steak for the sun,
Wine for the women who made the rain come.
Seagulls sing your hearts away,
'Cause while the sinners sin, the children play...

Oh Lord how they play and play-
For that happy day, for that happy day!"

Set Out Running....

is what I did today... Neko tickets are
purchased and a good time is on the way!
I'm so excited even though I've seen her
at least 5 times before.

"Want to get it all behind me,
You know everything reminds me
I can't be myself without you..
Want to crawl down deep inside
The springs inside the mattress
Where l cry my dirty secrets.
'Cause I just can't shake this feeling
That I'm nothing in your eyes.

And if I knew heartbreak was coming,
I would've set out running-
Past the city houses,
And the ditches on the highway
Read between the seasons,
Under the bridges in valleys,
Til the winds out on the prairie
Whip the tears from my eyes.

Want to get it all behind me,
You know everything reminds me
I can't be myself without you
Want to crawl down deep inside
the springs inside the mattress where I cry my dirty secrets.
'Cause I just can't shake this feeling
That I'm nothing in your eyes.

And if I knew heartbreak was coming
I would've set out running,
Across the muddy river,
And the smokestacks on the bank.
Swallow that horizon,
Hunger beyond hunger,
Til the cloudy blue Pacific
Took the air in my lungs.

And if I knew heartbreak was coming
I would've set out running,
'Cause I just can't shake this feeling
That I'm nothing in your eyes."

WHAT MAKES BABY HAPPY?

NEKO CASE SINGING TO ME!!!

YAY! Neko's coming to Burque'
April 15th and I could not be
happier. As a matter for fact,
I went out to the car to get a
Neko cd so the girls here can
know what all my excitement is
about, AND I FELL! My right knee
is swelling as I type... the pain
is totally worth knowing I will be
seeing Neko soon.

OH, HAPPY DAY!

"My true love drowned in a dirty old pan
Of oil that did run from the block,
Of a falcon sedan 1969.
The paper said '75....
There were no survivors,
None found alive.

Trees break the sidewalk
And the sidewalk skins my knees-
There's glass in my thermos
And blood on my jeans.
Nickels and dimes of the fourth of july
Roll off in a crooked line...
To the chain-link lots where the red tails dive
Oh how I forgot what it's like.

Hey when she sings, when she sings when she sings like she runs
Moves like she runs.
Hey when she moves, when she moves when she moves like she runs
Moves like she runs.
Hey there theres such dandy wolves round town tonight
Round the town tonight.
Hey there theres such dandy wolves round town tonight
Round the town tonight.

Hey pretty baby get high with me,
We can go to my sisters if we say "we'll watch the baby"
The look on your face yanks my neck on the chain,
And I would do anything...
To see you again.

So I fall in behind

Hey when she sings, when she sings when she sings like she runs
Moves like she runs.
Hey when she moves, when she moves when she moves like she runs
Moves like she runs.
Hey there theres such dandy wolves round town tonight
Round the town tonight.
Hey there theres such dandy wolves round town tonight
Round the town tonight.

Go on, go on scream and cry,
You're miles from where anyone will find you.
This is nothing new, no television crew
They don't even put on the sirens...
My nightgown sweeps the pavement,
Please don't let him die.

Oh how I forgot..."

Oh, Snowy Day!

This is what we woke up to this morning:

....it was my duty to stay in bed with Sweets and Bombay
instead of going to work across town. It was totally worth
it, Craig made me a yummy breakfast of scrambled eggs
with cheddar, bacon, tortillas and green chile-- when we
finally got out of bed. Tonight I am cooking us up some
NY strips and broccoli w/ roasted potatoes for my baby.

Here is Bumbs being so sleepy!

I love this:

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

so funny.

Today

has been crazy-- workwise.
I will be the happiest little girl in
the world when I'm out of here.

This song reminds me of when I was 20
years old or so and my friend Sasha and
I had a cute house together in the South
Valley on Sunset Drive. We used to have parties
all the time and rocked a number of great
tunes, including this one.

"I am still living with your ghost-
Lonely and dreaming of the west coast.
I don't want to be your downtime,
I don't want to be your stupid game.

With my big black boots and an old suitcase-
I do believe Ill find myself a new place.
I don't want to be the bad guy,
I don't want to do your sleepwalk dance anymore.
I just want to see some palm trees,
Go and try and shake away this disease.

We can live beside the ocean-
Leave the fire behind.
Swim out past the breakers-
Watch the world die."

This is a cool

site for "rockstar" jewelry:

**PNUT JEWELRY**

Thanks Kelli for sharing!!!

ON TO SOME BEAUTIFUL MUSIC...

"I envy the wind
That whispers in your ear,
That howls through the winter,
That freezes your fingers,
That moves through your hair,
And cracks your lips,
And chills you to the bone-
I envy the wind.

I envy the rain
That falls on your face,
That wets your eyelashes,
And dampens your skin,
And touches your tongue,
And soaks through your shirt,
And drips down your back-
I envy the rain.

I envy the sun
That brightens your summer,
That warms your body,
And holds you in her heat,
And makes your days longer,
And makes you hot,
And makes you sweat-
I envy the sun.
I envy the wind, I envy the rain, I envy the sun, I envy the wind."

--Lucinda Williams

I saw her a few years agon in Santa Fe and she
was just gorgeous! She is as amazing in concert
as she is on an album.

My Thursday Night

will consist of 3 things:

1. Homemade Meatloaf by Sweets.
2. THE OFFICE
3. Grey's Anatomy

I love 'The Office', it's one of my fave shows!
As for 'Grey's Anatomy', everyone loves that show.

Craig will be making us a delicious loaf of meat
for dinner tonight. He uses ground beef and pork,
lots o' carrots, onions, celery and love. The love
is what makes it soooo good.

Who Wants Some CHILEEE BEEEAAAANS?

Yum, today is the freakin' Superbowl, which pretty much
means you can eat whatever you damn well please. Craig
and I are "re-creating Hooters' Menu" as he puts it. We are
having some hotwings, chile con carne, and organic bread,
all homemade. As some may know, bread is not a usual football
staple-- it's just good as hell. Here I am behind our new wall
and the guys I'm spending my day with:

This is the DELICIOUS bread Sweets made us.
Also some Frito Pie.

Ms. Fat Booty

"Yo, in she came with the same type game-
The type of girl givin out the fake cell phone and name.
Big fame, she like cats with big thangs-
Jewels chip, money clip, phone flip, the six range.
I seen her on the ave, spotted her more than once,
Ass so fat that you could see it from the front!
She spot me like paparazzi; shot me a glance
in that catwoman stance with the fat booty pants, Hot damn!
What's your name love, where you came from?
Neck and wrist blazed up, very little make-up.
The swims at the Reebok gym tone your frame up.
Is sugar and spice the only thing that you made of?
I tried to play it low key but couldn't keep it down.
Asked her to dance she was like "Yo, I'm leavin now".
An hour later, sounds from Jamaica-
She sippin Crys straight up, shakin, windin her waist up..."

--Mos Def

I love this song, it always makes me want to dance.
The entire song is too long to post, but this is
probably the best part anyway.

TOP 5 FUN SONGS FOR TODAY:

1. Roses --Outkast
2. Rated X -- Neko's version
3. Material Girl -- Madonna
4. There's Your Trouble -- Dixie Chicks
5. I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself --Dusty Springfield

This is what we

had for our dinner last night...

It's risotto, which is an Italian rice dish, and it's
prepared with chicken stock and white wine, fresh
asparagus, portobello and button mushrooms, parmesan,
garlic, shallots, fresh ground nutmeg and lemon zest.
We also had a lovely salad with homemade vinaigrette,
yummy tomatoes and gorgonzola cheese. It took a long
time to properly cook the risotto, but in the end it
was totally worth it. Craig helped me along the way
because he's done it before and he's sweet.
