Hey Everybody!

Long time, no blog!

Hope you're well!

I've been up to a few things...
some exciting, some not so much.
Eh, such is life.

As I mentioned a while back, I dropped my
camera and have been using a loner (a BRICK!)
digital for important stuff. I want a new one,
preferably a DSLR, but we'll see when THAT
happens. Need some cash money, yo.

Anyhoo, I've been taking pics with my
old pal, Holga. It's been too long and it's
really nice to have her back in my life.
Stay tuned for some new shots.

I got to visit with some great friends this
past weekend. Amanda, Michell, Cara and Lori.
It was a blast to catch up and just be a girl!
We had a great time, may post a few blurry
pics soon!

Been enjoying the heck out of this gal:

Lola is a sweet thang! We really love her!

Bombay and the chickens are still around,
raising hell and whatnot.

And most recently, I was lucky enough to get a
Lambretta of my very own! That's right, I will be
riding around the 505 this spring, summer
and fall. Mine is a LI 125 Series 3, like this:

Sundays, Star Sightings and Scooters...

Sunday was Father's Day and we
celebrated by having lunch in Santa Fe
@ a favorite, Cafe Pasqual's. Anyone who's
ever been there knows there is ALWAYS a
wait, well worth it, and this Sunday was no
different. But, while we were waiting, I spotted
Hilary Swank! She was blonde and petite and
walking down the street, minding her own
business. It was actually really exciting!
She's a looker!


Another exciting thing coming up is the
Lambretta Scooter Rally, being hosted by my
Sweets and his friends. They have been working
so hard for months, but I think it's going to be
great fun and worth all the hard work. The guys will
also be in the paper on June 25th, I'll post a link or
something...In the meantime, here's a pic of the pinata,
not quite finished, that will be smashed to smithereens:

Good Day...

it has been so far. My Sweet Baby was a bit
under the weather yesterday and he's feeling
better today so YAY. I got to stay in bed for
a while with our very own monster and then
I listened to some good music on my way to work.

oh, and tonight is America's Next Top Model. yay.

For dinner this evening,

I'm roasting up a chicken with the herbs we got
at the Grecian Festival here in 'Burque, garlic
mashed potatoes with homemade cream gravy,
and these green beans w/ 'maters
that are supposed to be a Thanksgiving side,
but I want them tonight...now.

Angus and I planned on making blueberry
muffins from a recipe that Alison shared,
but our local ghetto Smith's didn't have blueberries,
so we'll do those next weekend. Instead, we're
making Craig a "Welcome Home" (from a scooter
rally in AZ.) cake with chocolate frosting for dessert.
yum.

The Scooter Rally was fun.

Craig won an awesome Chrome Messenger Bag which
is SO him. He also won a cool undie set for yours
truly from a shop in Santa Fe called Unity. There
were some other swag gifts as there were many
sponsors who donated items, but these were the
best. There were also some cute Scooter Boys,
but Craig was BY FAR the hottest one there.

i'm better with it tonight than i was last night.

did i tell you? we're going to a scooter rally next
weekend? craig will ride his lambretta, 'bruja' i think?,
bombs and i will drive vivien the volvo up to the jemez
and we'll camp out for 2 days or so. we have a new tent
and a new sleeping bag for mama, so i'm actually looking
forward to it! you KNOW i will post some pictures and fine
stories! stay tuned for the madness to come!

Saturday Night at home...

Craig gave me a lift to Smith's on his Lambretta
today to pick up some things. He rebuilt it all by
himself and it kicks ass! That thing goes fast and
I have to admit, it is a major turn on! I'm really
proud of Craig, I had all the faith in the world that
he could do it and of course he did... yay baby!
