Sweet Bombay had his annual
Pug party benefitting N.M. Pug Rescue
this weekend and guess who won for
Best Original Costume?

That's right, Baby Boy was the big winner!
He had a great time as always and there
were tons of other cute pugs to hold and love!

my week has gone by very quickly and
that makes me very happy... and the
fact that i found this beauty:

~for NINE FLIPPIN' DOLLARS at
a thrift store in town... score! i also
found a couple of cool old books.

i also purchased some(NEW!)old
school tube socks, they're so fly.
mine are red, white and blue... go usa!




a few fun things coming up are:

pugtoberfest 2008... bombs doesn't
have a costume yet, he may just wear
these. and a white t-shirt if i can find one.

a fun bachelorette party for kelli and a
fun wedding soon after.

you like how i incorporate music of the
day lyrics into the post title? yeah, it
means i got nothing. nothing, i tell you.

it's been hot. and that makes me grumpy.

i've gained like 5 lbs this week due to
eating, sitting, more eating and some
more sitting. i try to ride my awesome
bike as much as possible, but still. i fear
the late night bowls of ice cream and
cereal may have something to do with
it. needless to say, i will be refraining
from said late night snacks. for now.

on a sad note, one of the chicks is no
longer with us. craig and angus found
them wandering in the yard on saturday
morning and lina was no where to be
found. i like to believe she made it to
the south valley to live the wild life in
some trees or something. she was the
leader of the pack, and it seems as though
hazel has taken over that role now. we
still plan on getting a few more chicks,
hopefully soon...

got a little checke from the go'ment, think
i'll buy myself some skirts and tanks and
maybe some new sunglasses. one of my
current pairs (brown mad dogs,yo) has seen
better days. and i think a few new outfits
will inspire me to get out of my current
fashion funk. i'll let you know how that
turns out.

this evening i plan on enjoying the 1st
season of flight of the concords. i've
heard from numerous people how great
it is... looking forward to it. and their
cover and spread on bust a few issues
ago was hilarious. and i totally know
this is so last year, don't really care.

anyhoo, hope you are having a lovely
afternoon. i'm having some cold grapes
and listening to tupac right now. nice.

there's not a lot going on around
here today, aside from work, so I'm
going to list stuff I like... exciting!

1. Grilled cheese sandwiches... I'd choke
a ho for one right.now.

4. When Craig and I are so sleepy, we stay in bed
for as looong as possible.

5. Wednesdays when America's Next Top Model is
on and I get to sit on my ass for an hour straight.

Weekend Recap

I had a good time with the girls on Friday night... I love
talking shit and laughing and taking deer in headlights
photos.

Saturday, lots of layin' around... just how I like it. Craig
made us some delicious fried chicken, taters and veggies,
then we (craig, angus, me and bombs) watched a super
hilarious new Saturday Night Live with our girl Tina Fey.
Then, later in bed, after discussing politics and our world,
Craig and I made out like teenagers, dry humping and all...
it was AWESOME. You should try it (again), I highly, highly
recommend it.

Sunday, after sleeping in, the 3 of us had some eggs, bacon
and toast and hit the mall (uugghh, i hate the mall!) to get
Sweets some badly needed new jeans(he got the levi's 514's
and they make his ass look yum!). We had some lunch over
at the new Top Dog ( sauerkraut and spicy mustard for me)
and drove over to Central to take pics of this for Angus's Blog:


For dinner, we're having leftover chicken and this soup and
here are some shots of me making said soup:

And now, while the soup is simmering and the boys
are playing some sort of video game, I'm also watching
the Oscars and diggin'on these people, 'cause they're
oh, so cool:

Happy Weekend!

Boy, do I love Fridays!

Here are a few things I'm looking forward to:

1. 'Weeds' tonight... I am in love with almost
all of the crazy characters.

2. Sleeping in... the sweet pug has kept me
up the last few nights with his human-like
snores and need to sleep between my legs,
as though I'm giving birth to him.

3. Develop my current roll of film on my
Holga, as I think/feel/hope there some
pretty good shots.

4. Although I don't really watch football,
I will endure the game to see Tom Brady
all sweaty and hot.

5. Along with the other superbowl goodies
like hotwings, hotdogs ( i LOVE hotdogs!)
and chile con carne, I will be making
homemade mac + cheese and I can't wait!
